The L31 series of cartridges fit a variety of popular Brother fax machines and multifunction devices. The black model (LC31BK) has a life of approximately 500 pages at 5% coverage with 600 x 150 dpi resolution (fast mode). The corresponding color cartridges (LC31C, LC31M, and LC31Y) have a life of approximately 400 pages at 5% coverage with 600 x 150 dpi resolution (fast mode). These numbers are based on consecutive printing and will vary based on printing frequency and the number of pages you print.

Compatible models include FAX-1820C, FAX-1920CN, MFC-3820CN, MFC-3420C, MFC-3320CN, and MFC-3220C. Note that many machines periodically clean the print head in order to maintain the print quality, and this process consumes a small amount of ink. One cartridge per package. Each color sold separately. Ink cartridges are designed for use with Brother FAX1820C, FAX1920CN, MFC3220C, MFC3320C, MFC3420C and MFC3820CN. Black yields 480 pages. Color yields 400 pages.
